Student Success Statement

"My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy; you don't make them because they are cheap; you don't make them because they're popular; you make them because they're right."
-Theodore Hesburgh

Reflection: I think this quote means that when you make a decision you have to think morally and why the decision would be the right thing to do. For example, a person can be getting robbed and you can choose to walk away and avoid the chances of getting hurt, it would be the easy way out and won't cost you a thing; however the right thing to do would be help. You're conscious is telling you to help and you really should because you would want the help if that ever happened to you too. Making decisions shouldn't be so hard if you apply what you think is rightful.
