Student Success Statement

"Our very business in life is not to get ahead of others...but to get ahead of ourselves."
- Thomas S. Monson

This statement means to me that one must mind its own life and buisness instead of worrying about if others are doing better than you. In order to get better in life and successful you gave to focus on your own pathway and how you are achieving success instead of worrying about others lifes.Once realizing this
you will achieve your goals and get ahead to where you wanna be, you will be happy with who you are and not worry on  living to others successes.

Student success statement

"true wealth is of the heart, not of the purse."
- Og mandino

This quote, to me, means that one can be wealthy with money but one with good valuable wealth is found inside the heart. True wealth is not money but a good heart. what is the point of having money when one is unhappy and unlovable, it is not really having everything.

Student Success Statement

"Real wealth is not so much what we have as what we are."
- Sterling W. Sill

This statement means that real value is not found in money but in who we are. What we live for and how we live is what really gives us wealth and makes us feel good as a person. It gives others the model of a good person and makes you wealthy inside as you are known as a good person.

Summer

Summer is the moment every person, young or old look forward to after long months at school. I used to also except when its 100 degrees outside and its too hot to do anything but when the sun finally goes down, its also too late to do anything. going to the beach is now so overrated and quite frankly id rather not be there. summer for me is a time to catch up with old friends, catch up on sleep, and catch up on old TV series. my hobby this summer was like any other, re runs of Doctor Who and drawing. I would call this the perfect summer because I prefer not to be social and stay like a hermit in my room all day. But of course, that's just me. Summer is not something I like to look forward to except the no school thing, I much prefer Winter.

Student success statement

"Education is the latch key to success in life." - Gordon B. Hinckley

This quote means to me that without education, it would be very difficult to go far in life. Being educated gives you more chances of achieving success compared to those who are uneducated. It gives you knowledgeable sense and open doors to new opportunities. this quote is saying that education is the key to a successful life.

Ophthalmologist

Ophthalmologist

Duties and responsibilities: Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologists are in private practice, however some are employed by hospitals or clinics, and others perform research.
Average salary: $90,000-$150,000
Educational Requirements: Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologists. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmology program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

Reflection: I think I would not like to become an ophthalmologist because it is centered on the eyes and although I believe this career path is interesting, I would not like to perform tests on the eyes or surgery for that matter. Therefore, no, I would not like to be an ophthalmologist in my future.
