REGGIE BUSH

Reggie bush was a star USC player for many years and was nominated for the Heisman trophy in 2005. He had been a great player and most people believed he deserved the award. Once given the award, news spread fast about the investigation from the NCAA, they allegedly found that Bush had been playing games while in violation of the schools rules. He had been wrongly accepting cash, gifts, and other such things and this laid flatly in violation of the NCAA and he shouldn't have been playing several games. As a result Bush was ordered to forfeit the award and the college team was made to go back and erase the winning of the team and exchange it for looses. In conclusion he was suspended from the team and therefore being disobedient to his team led to all these negative consequences.

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT
"Obedience sums up our entire duty." -Hosea Ballou

Reflection: As i read this statement i thought that what they meant by this statement was that to be obedient is what we are here for. our entire life we have to listen to our parents, our elders, our teachers, our instructors, our bosses. Our duty in life is to be obedient until we have learned for ourselves and become the boss, the teacher, the elder. Obedience is out duty in life and we must oblige.

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT
"The more obedient we are the more freedom  we have."
- Boyd d packer

reflection: after reading this quote it made me realized that the more you are obedient and listen to others the more they will trust you alone and to other errands. the freedom to go out will expand and also doing other activities with precaution will have you be able to go out more and to different places. breaking the law will get you in jail with no freedom except inside the cell while doing the right thing will allow you all the possibilities you can have being outdoors.

Reflection:  after researching this occupation I do not think I would like to become one because it is a practice based solely on the ear and you would have to remember what each point on the map refers to what chronic injury. I am not good with memorizing and therefore I would not like to become one.

9/11 MEMORIAL

The twin towers was one of Americas most tragic incident which took place in New York September 11, 2001. I was only 2 and a half years old when this terrorist attack occurred and I didn't learn about it until years later. In elementary around 3rd or 4th grade is my first clear memory talking about 9/11. We were in the classroom and we had a moment of silence for the victims of the event that day. then as a classroom we began discussing our views on this and how it affected not only the victims but all of New York and their families.
I felt devastated, the only thought that went through my mind was how can someone be so cruel. knowing so many would die that day and still going about it so nonchalantly. They were only  proving that they would kill, even themselves just for their own needs. It didn't scare us but it did anger us. Maybe they wanted to start something and they achieved it. Nonetheless everyone alive, dead, or just born will learn about this event in history and it will live on for the rest of the world history.
