This quote means to me that everyday we have a choice to be nice or bad and whichever we choose can affect our everyday life. Its the little thing in life that add up and if we choose bad everyday you will be unhappy and eternity will follow ,but being nice and being good will reflect you the same way in life therefore our doings make a difference always.
