Final Part 1:

1. What are things you liked about the class?
My favorite thing about this class was the medical research and reflection because it made me realize the huge amount of possibilities in the medical field and it made me rethink what I might want to do in college.

2.What are things you did not like about the class?
There wasn't anything in particular i didn't like since this was a fairly easy class and it consisted mainly of researching.

3.Recommendations?
A recommendation from me is that maybe there should be more CTR card checks because its always fun to see the fear in students eyes that don't have the card with them and it'll remind them to always bring it to school.

4.Did you really do your best in this class?
I did do my best in this class because i wrote everything with as much detail and examples as i could think of, i worked hard on every post we had to do and my blog cam out pretty good if i do say so myself.

5.Are you reading your  100+ goals?
Yes i do read my 100+ goals almost everyday because I like to look over what I have accomplished and what I am planning to do so that I can, when i have the chance to, go out and cross off more things on my list.

6.Are you committed to being a CTR  person?
Yes I am committed to being a CTR person because i believe i could build a stronger character with unbreakable morals and i will have a clearer path to my success if i keep wrong things out of my way.

7.What will you always remember about this class?
Besides the great teacher, I will always remember how it showed me so many different career option and how it made me realize that I don't always have to be a nurse to work in the medical field just like I don't have to work in cartoons if I want to be an illustrator.

Student Success Statement

Of all the choices you ever make, there is one choice that supersedes all others that will guide and help you in all your other choices. This one choice will help you to always make correct decisions. This one choice, the ultimate choice, is the keystone to being the best student and person you can possibly be. This one choice will forever affect you for good more than any other choice. The ultimate choice is:
To be a CTR person- to always choose the right!

Reflection: I believe this statement means that the way to always do good and keep on track and  live a good life is to be a CTR person. Being a CTR person is not hard, you just choose the right instead of wrong, no matter what the circumstance. Only the best things can happen to someone that chooses the right. You cannot be swayed to go do the wrong because you would have built character and have good morals. Choose the right and will be the best decision you made.

Student Success Statement

"A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder."
-Thomas Carlyle

Reflection: I believe that this quote means that a man who has no goals, has no direction. On a boat the rudder steers the boat to whatever direction the helmsman steers it, it has a place it wants to go. If a man has no goals, they don't know where they're going and so they stay stuck in the same place forever. After high school you can have the goal to go to college and study for a career but if  you have no goals then you don't know what to do. You don't know if you want to work or study and so you're left with nothing and like a boat without a rudder you'll eventually crash if not steered. Having goals will let you get somewhere even if its starting small.

Student Success Statement

"If there is beauty in character, there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character, there will be peace in the world"
-Chinese Proverb

Reflection: I believe this proverb is true because it states that beauty in the character cam create peace. If everyone in the world showed a great character, the goodness will spread and lead a nation to peace, through smaller pieces. It begins with just one person that will pass the goodness onto their friends and family, who will pass it onto other members and little by little the peace will rise and spread to the nation. Peace begins with good character and if everyone had one, then destruction and anger would cease to exist.
The Six Pillars of Character

1.Trustworthiness
  • Be honest and reliable and respectful to your family and friends.
  • If you see something done that isn't right then speak up and say something to someone.
2.Respect
  • Be tolerant and accepting of differences.
  • Use good manners and no bad language, be considerate of others.
3.Responsibility
  • Do what you're supposed to and plan ahead, think before you act.
  • If you forget to do something, be a good example and own up to your mistakes.
4.Fairness
  • Play by the rules; take turns and share, do not blame others and cooperate with everyone.
  • When playing together don't hog all the toys or the ball and share and play fairly with others.
5.Caring
  • Be kind and compassionate; forgive and express gratitude.
  • If someone is in need of help then be a caring person and offer a hand.
6.Citizenship
  • Get involved and help make your school/community better. Be a god neighbor and obey laws and rules.
  • If your community needs volunteers for a community project, then offer your hand and be a good citizen in helping being change to the environment.

Reflection: I believe the Six Pillars are a great way to order the good traits people should have with them to have a great character with good morals. They all describe traits to keep the peace and help others and the environment. Having these 6 traits are a sure way to help you stay in the 'Right' lane and be a good person.

Student Success Statement

"I would prefer to fail with honor than win by cheating."
-Sophocles

Reflection: I believe this quote means that if you win by cheating, you are not honorable, you lied and so you did not win fairly and you hardly won at all. You only truly win by winning with the rules. If you cheat on a test, you got a good grade sure, but you didn't learn anything. You have won nothing but a false percentage. If you fail the test and you didn't cheat, then you are honorable, you knew what you did and from the things you don't know, you learn. You have gained knowledge and kept a god character, that is very honorable.
Memorial Day

1. Memorial Day is a day where those who died in active military service are remembered and honored for their courage and lives given to keep out country safe.

2. The purpose of Memorial Day is to never forget those who gave their life for our country and to ensure that they are honored forever.

3. Memorial Day is held on the last Monday in May although it used to be celebrated on May 30th.

4. A few ways to show honor and respect on Memorial Day is by going to visit the Flag Garden, USS constitution museum etc. and pay your respects or attending a Memorial Day service. Just acknowledging and being grateful for their service is the main point of Memorial Day

5. Traditionally, on Memorial Day, the american flag is lowered to half staff until noon to commemorate all of the lost soldiers and then is raised at full staff for the rest of the day.

6. I do not know what I will do on Memorial Day Except maybe attend a service but if I had the chance I would like to go to the Flag Garden.
