The Six Pillars of Character

1.Trustworthiness
  • Be honest and reliable and respectful to your family and friends.
  • If you see something done that isn't right then speak up and say something to someone.
2.Respect
  • Be tolerant and accepting of differences.
  • Use good manners and no bad language, be considerate of others.
3.Responsibility
  • Do what you're supposed to and plan ahead, think before you act.
  • If you forget to do something, be a good example and own up to your mistakes.
4.Fairness
  • Play by the rules; take turns and share, do not blame others and cooperate with everyone.
  • When playing together don't hog all the toys or the ball and share and play fairly with others.
5.Caring
  • Be kind and compassionate; forgive and express gratitude.
  • If someone is in need of help then be a caring person and offer a hand.
6.Citizenship
  • Get involved and help make your school/community better. Be a god neighbor and obey laws and rules.
  • If your community needs volunteers for a community project, then offer your hand and be a good citizen in helping being change to the environment.

Reflection: I believe the Six Pillars are a great way to order the good traits people should have with them to have a great character with good morals. They all describe traits to keep the peace and help others and the environment. Having these 6 traits are a sure way to help you stay in the 'Right' lane and be a good person.
